1. Park your Hyundai in a safe location and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.
2. Open the trunk of your Hyundai.
3. Locate the center brake light assembly. It is usually located in the middle of the rear window.
4. Remove the mounting screws that hold the brake light assembly in place. There will usually be two or four screws.
5. Pull the brake light assembly straight out of the car.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the brake light assembly.
7. Install the new brake light assembly in reverse order. Be sure to tighten the mounting screws securely.
8. Test the new brake light to make sure it is working properly.
Tips:
- If you have difficulty removing the mounting screws, try using a screwdriver with a long shaft.
- Be careful not to drop the brake light assembly.
