Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
Locate the headlight cover on the back of the headlight assembly. It is usually secured by a few screws or clips.
Remove the headlight cover by unscrewing the screws or releasing the clips.
Locate the headlight bulb. It is usually a round, glass-enclosed bulb with a metal base.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlight bulb by pressing the release tab and pulling it straight off the bulb.
Remove the old headlight bulb by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it out of the housing.
Install the new headlight bulb by inserting it into the housing and turning it clockwise until it is secure.
Reconnect the electrical connector to the headlight bulb.
Replace the headlight cover and secure it with the screws or clips.
Test the new headlight to make sure it is working properly.
Here are some additional tips:
If the headlight bulb is difficult to reach, you may need to remove the front wheel and wheel well liner to gain access to the headlight assembly.
Be careful not to touch the glass part of the headlight bulb with your bare hands, as this can cause the bulb to burn out prematurely.
If you are uncomfortable changing the headlight bulb yourself, you can take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic to have it done.
