Here are the steps to turn on the fog lights in your 2005 Volkswagen Beetle:
1. Locate the fog light switch. The fog light switch is located on the left side of the steering column, just below the headlight switch.
2. Turn the fog light switch to the "on" position. This position is indicated by the symbol of a horizontal line, with a small dot beneath it.
3. The fog lights will now be turned on. You will see the fog lights illuminated in the front of your car.
Note: The fog lights can only be turned on when the headlights are also turned on.
