- Locate the two screws that hold the seat in place.
- They are usually located at the front of the seat, just behind the gas tank.
- Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen the screws.
Step 2: Remove the seat.
- Once removed the screws, you should be able to lift the seat off of the bike.
- Be careful not to drop it.
- Set the seat aside in a safe place.

- If the screws are rusted or corroded, you may need to use a penetrating oil to loosen them.
- Be careful not to strip the screws.
