1. Park your car on a level surface. Make sure the headlights are turned off.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the headlight adjustment screws. There are two screws on each headlight, one for the horizontal adjustment and one for the vertical adjustment.
4. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to turn the horizontal adjustment screw. Turn the screw clockwise to move the headlight to the right, or counterclockwise to move the headlight to the left.
5. Use the flat-head screwdriver to turn the vertical adjustment screw. Turn the screw clockwise to move the headlight up, or counterclockwise to move the headlight down.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the other headlight.
7. Close the hood of your car.
8. Turn on the headlights to check the adjustment. The headlights should be aimed so that they shine straight ahead, not too high or too low.
If you are not comfortable making this adjustment yourself, you can take your car to a mechanic or auto body shop to have it done.
