How do you remove stereo 1998 Audi?

To remove a 1998 Audi stereo, you will need the following tools:

* A Phillips head screwdriver

* A T-25 Torx screwdriver

* A pry tool

* A wire stripper

Instructions:

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the four screws that hold the radio surround in place.

3. Use the pry tool to pry the radio surround off of the dashboard.

4. Remove the two Torx screws that hold the radio in place.

5. Pull the radio out of the dash.

6. Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the radio.

7. Use the wire stripper to remove the wire connectors from the wires.

8. Remove the radio from the vehicle.

To reinstall the radio, reverse the removal procedure.
