- Press the UNLOCK button on your key fob.
- Insert the key blade into the driver’s door lock and turn it clockwise.
- Press the inner door release handle.
- Pull the door open.
Volvo Car App
- Make sure that you have the latest Volvo Cars app downloaded on your phone.
- Make sure that your car is connected to the app and that you are close to it.
- Open the Volvo Cars app and log in to your account.
- Tap the “Unlock car” button.
If your key fob or Volvo Cars app isn't working:
- Pull the release lever inside the fuel filler flap.
- Insert the detachable key blade from your key fob into the revealed lock opening.
- Turn the key blade clockwise to unlock the door.
- Pull the inner door release handle to open the door.
Remember to return the detachable key blade to its original place.
