Fuel Filter
The fuel filter is located on the passenger side of the vehicle, under the rear seat cushion.
Removal:
1. Remove the rear seat cushion by pulling up on the front edge of the cushion.
2. Press the release tab on the fuel filter cover and remove the cover.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel filter.
4. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel filter. There is a release clip on each connector that must be depressed before the connector can be disconnected.
5. Remove the fuel filter from the vehicle.
Installation:
1. Install the new fuel filter in the reverse order of removal. Be sure to lubricate the O-rings on the fuel lines with a silicone-based lubricant.
2. Start the vehicle and check for leaks.
