Pull the release cord: The trunk release cord is located in the driver's side footwell. Pull the cord to release the trunk.
Manually release the latch: If the release cord is broken, you can manually release the trunk latch by using a screwdriver or other thin object. Reach under the car and insert the tool into the small hole on the left side of the trunk latch. Push the release lever to release the trunk.
Use the emergency key: The emergency key is located in a hidden compartment on the driver's side door frame. To access the compartment, remove the small cover on the door frame. Once the compartment is open, insert the emergency key into the lock and turn to open the trunk.
