* Phillips head screwdriver
* Flathead screwdriver
* Replacement illumination bulb (part number: 24830-2F000)
1. Park the vehicle in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Set the parking brake.
3. Locate the gearshift knob on the center console.
4. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the gearshift knob in place.
5. Gently pry off the gearshift knob with the flat-head screwdriver.
6. Locate the illumination bulb socket on the underside of the gearshift knob.
7. Use the flathead screwdriver to pry open the illumination bulb socket.
8. Remove the old illumination bulb from the socket.
9. Insert the replacement illumination bulb into the socket.
10. Snap the illumination bulb socket closed.
11. Reinstall the gearshift knob.
12. Tighten the two screws that hold the gearshift knob in place.
The gearshift illumination light should now be working properly.
