1. Park your vehicle in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Open the trunk of your vehicle.
3. Locate the tail light assembly that you need to replace. It is usually held in place by several bolts or screws.
4. Use a wrench or screwdriver to remove the bolts or screws that are holding the tail light assembly in place.
5. Carefully remove the tail light assembly from the vehicle.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the tail light assembly.
7. Remove the old tail light bulb from the assembly.
8. Insert the new tail light bulb into the assembly.
9. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the tail light assembly.
10. Carefully reinstall the tail light assembly into the vehicle.
11. Secure the tail light assembly with the bolts or screws that you removed in step 4.
12. Close the trunk of your vehicle.
13. Turn on your vehicle's headlights and brake lights to test the new tail light.
