Tools and Materials Needed:
- Replacement third brake light assembly (OEM or compatible aftermarket)
- Phillips-head screwdriver
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Park the car and Engage the parking brake. Turn off the engine, and engage the parking brake for safety.
2. Locate the third brake light. The third brake light is located at the rear of the vehicle, at the top of the rear windshield.
3. Open the trunk. Open the trunk of your Camry.
4. Locate the screws holding the third brake light assembly. Inside the trunk, locate two Phillips-head screws holding the third brake light assembly in place.
5. Remove the screws. Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the third brake light assembly.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector. Gently disconnect the electrical connector attached to the third brake light assembly.
7. Remove the old third brake light assembly. Once the screws are removed and the electrical connector is disconnected, you can carefully remove the old third brake light assembly.
8.Connect the new third brake light assembly. Take the new third brake light assembly and connect the electrical connector.
9. Secure the new third brake light assembly: Place the new third brake light assembly back into position and fasten it securely using the two screws.
10. Test the third brake light: Turn on the vehicle's headlights, and step on the brake pedal to ensure that the new brake light is working correctly.
11. Close the trunk. Once you've verified that the new brake light is functioning propertly, close the trunk of your car.

- Be careful not to drop the screws- They can easily get lost inside the trunk.
