1. Park the Previa on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow the headlights to cool down if they have been on.
2. Open the hood of the Previa.
3. Locate the two retaining screws on the top of each headlight assembly. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen and remove these screws.
4. Gently pry the headlight assembly out from the front of the Previa, starting from the outer edge and working your way in. Be careful not to drop the headlight assembly.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the headlight assembly by pressing the release tab and pulling the connector straight off.
6. Remove the old headlight bulb by twisting the bulb counterclockwise and pulling it straight out from the housing.
7. Insert the new headlight bulb into the housing, making sure to line up the pins on the bulb with the slots in the housing.
8. Twist the new headlight bulb clockwise until it is secure.
9. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the headlight assembly.
10. Slide the headlight assembly back into place in the front of the Previa, making sure that the tabs on the assembly line up with the slots in the headlight panel.
11. Replace and tighten the two retaining screws on the top of each headlight assembly.
12. Close the hood of the Previa.
The headlight bulbs have now been successfully replaced.
