Where is the Mazda miata parking brake adjustment?

Under the car, behind the transmission.

The Mazda Miata parking brake is adjusted by turning a nut located behind the transmission. To access this nut, you will need to crawl under the car and remove the plastic cover that protects the transmission. Once the cover is removed, you will see the parking brake cable running from the handbrake lever to the rear wheels. The adjustment nut is located at the end of the parking brake cable, where it attaches to the rear brake calipers.

To adjust the parking brake, turn the nut clockwise to tighten the cable and counterclockwise to loosen the cable. The parking brake should be adjusted so that it engages after three to four clicks of the handbrake lever. If the parking brake does not engage after four clicks, the cable is too loose and needs to be tightened. If the parking brake engages before three clicks, the cable is too tight and needs to be loosened.
