1. The coolant temperature sensor is located on the left rear of the intake manifold.
2. It is a 2-wire sensor with a green connector.
3. The wires are black and orange.
To remove the coolant temperature sensor, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the intake manifold cover.
3. Locate the coolant temperature sensor.
4. Disconnect the sensor connector.
5. Remove the sensor from the intake manifold.
To install the new coolant temperature sensor, follow these steps:
1. Apply a small amount of sealant to the threads of the new sensor.
2. Screw the new sensor into the intake manifold.
3. Tighten the sensor to 18 lb-ft (25 Nm).
4. Connect the sensor connector.
5. Install the intake manifold cover.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
