- A Phillips head screwdriver
- A flat head screwdriver
- A trim removal tool (optional)
Instructions:
1. Turn off the engine and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the two screws that hold the center console in place.
3. Pry up the center console with the flat head screwdriver and remove it.
4. Locate the four screws that hold the stereo in place.
5. Remove the four screws and pull the stereo out of the dash.
6. Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the stereo.
7. Remove the stereo from the vehicle.
To install a new stereo, simply reverse the removal process. Be sure to connect the wiring harness to the new stereo before installing it in the dash.
