Which side is the clutch pedal in European cars?

In most European cars, the clutch pedal is located on the far left side of the footwell. The brake pedal is located in the middle, and the accelerator pedal is on the far right. This arrangement is different from that in most American cars, where the clutch pedal is located in the middle and the brake and accelerator pedals are on either side.
