How do you get the old speakers out to put new ones in a volkswagen beetle?

To remove the old speakers in a Volkswagen Beetle, follow these steps:

Front Speakers:

Turn off the car stereo and disconnect the battery to ensure safety.

Remove the front door panels. There may be hidden screws hidden behind covers or handles, so inspect the panel thoroughly.

Once the door panel is removed, locate the speaker. It will be held in place by a few screws. Using a screwdriver, remove these screws and pull the speaker out from the front of the door.

Disconnect the speaker wires by pressing the tabs on the connectors and pulling them apart.

Rear Speakers:

Remove the rear seat cushions/benches to access the rear speaker panels.

Unscrew the speaker covers or grilles to expose the speakers.

Unscrew the speakers from the mounting brackets. Disconnect the speaker wires by pressing the tabs on the connectors and pulling them apart.

NOTE: Some Beetle models might have additional screws or components securing the speakers, so carefully inspect the area when removing all screws and clips to prevent any damage to the interior panels when you're taking any parts off during the process.
