Step 2:Locate the rear light lenses:
Open your trunk and look at the rear of the car. You should see two screws on either side of the brake light lenses.
If the screws are not easy to see, they may be covered by plastic caps. Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove these caps.
Step 3: Remove the screws:
Use the screwdriver to turn the screws counterclockwise and remove them.
Step 4: Remove the rear brake light lenses:
Once the screws are removed, you should be able to pull the rear brake light lenses out of the car.
Step 5: Replace the rear brake light bulbs:
Locate the brake light bulbs in the rear brake light lenses.
Twist the brake light bulbs counterclockwise to remove them.
Insert the new brake light bulbs into the rear brake light lenses.
Twist the brake light bulbs clockwise to secure them in place.
Step 6: Replace the rear brake light lenses:
Realign the rear brake light lenses with the holes in the rear of the car.
Push the rear brake light lenses into the holes until they are secure.
Replace the screws that you removed in Step 3.
Replace the plastic caps that you removed in Step 2.
Step 7: Test your brake lights:
Turn on your car and press the brake pedal.
The new brake lights should come on.
