-New rear view mirror
Instructions:
1. Park the car in a safe location and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool down completely.
2. Open the driver's door and locate the rear view mirror.
3. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the mirror in place.
4. Use the flat head screwdriver to pry the mirror away from the windshield. Be careful not to damage the windshield.
5. Use the Allen key to remove the two bolts that hold the mirror to the mounting bracket.
6. Remove the old mirror and discard it.
7. Install the new mirror by inserting the bolts into the mounting bracket and tightening them with the Allen key.
8. Reattach the mirror to the windshield by inserting the screws and tightening them with the Phillips head screwdriver.
Tips:
-If the mirror is difficult to pry away from the windshield, try using a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive.
-Be careful not to over-tighten the screws when reattaching the mirror.
-If you are uncomfortable performing this repair yourself, you can take your car to a qualified mechanic.
