1. Pull the lever marked "Hood release" located on the driver's footwell.
2. You will hear the hood release mechanism "pop".
3. Go to the front of the vehicle and locate the hood release handle located in the center of the grille.
4. Pull the hood release handle.
5. The hood will pop up slightly.
6. Lift the hood until the prop rod can be inserted to hold it open.
