When were BMW mini cars invented?

BMW MINI cars were not invented. They are a brand of small cars produced by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 to 2000. The MINI brand was relaunched in 2001 by BMW, which had acquired the rights to the brand in 1994.
