Before starting, park the vehicle in a safe location, engage the parking brake, turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
1. Locate the front marker light assembly. It is situated in the front bumper of the vehicle, directly below the headlight assembly.
2. Remove the screws holding the front marker light assembly in place. There is one screw located at the top and one at the bottom of the assembly. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws.
3. Pull the front marker light assembly out of the bumper. Be careful not to damage the paint on the bumper.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the front marker light assembly. Press the release tab on the connector and pull it apart.
5. Remove the old light bulb from the front marker light assembly. Twist the bulb counterclockwise to remove it.
6. Insert the new light bulb into the front marker light assembly. Twist the bulb clockwise to secure it.
7. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the front marker light assembly. Push the connector together until it clicks into place.
8. Push the front marker light assembly back into the bumper. Ensure the assembly is properly seated and aligns with the surrounding area.
9. Replace the screws that hold the front marker light assembly in place. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to tighten the screws.
10. Test the new front marker light by turning on the headlights. Ensure the light is functioning correctly.
