1. Phillips-head screwdriver
2. Flat-head screwdriver
3. T25 Torx screwdriver
4. Prying tool
5. New cup holder assembly (available online or from a Mercedes-Benz dealer)
Instructions:
1. Remove the rear seat cushion by pulling up on the front edge and lifting it out.
2. Remove the two screws that secure the cup holder assembly to the center console using the Phillips-head screwdriver.
3. Use the flat-head screwdriver to pry up the plastic trim piece around the cup holder.
4. Use the T25 Torx screwdriver to remove the two screws that secure the cup holder assembly to the center console from underneath.
5. Remove the cup holder assembly from the center console.
6. Transfer the cup holder insert from the old assembly to the new one, if necessary.
7. Reverse the steps to install the new cup holder assembly.
