1. Park the ATV on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the clutch cable adjustment nut on the left side of the engine, near the top of the clutch cover.
3. Use a 10mm wrench to loosen the locknut on the clutch cable adjustment nut.
4. Turn the clutch cable adjustment nut clockwise to tighten the clutch cable, or counterclockwise to loosen it.
5. Hold the clutch lever in and turn the clutch cable adjustment nut until you feel a slight drag when you release the lever.
6. Tighten the locknut to secure the clutch cable adjustment in place.
7. Test the clutch by starting the ATV and shifting through the gears. The clutch should engage smoothly and without slipping.
If you are still experiencing problems with the clutch after making these adjustments, you may need to replace the clutch cable or the clutch plates.
