1. Park the mower on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down completely.
3. Locate the blade bolts on the bottom of the mower deck. There are usually two or three bolts on each blade.
4. Loosen the blade bolts using a wrench. Do not remove the bolts completely.
5. Locate the turn bolt pulley on the side of the mower deck. This is a small pulley with a bolt in the center.
6. Use a wrench to turn the turn bolt pulley clockwise until the blades stop rotating.
7. Remove the blade bolts and remove the blades from the mower deck.
8. Reinstall the blades in reverse order of removal.
9. Tighten the blade bolts securely.
10. Turn the turn bolt pulley counterclockwise to release the tension on the blades.
11. Start the engine and test the blades.
