1. Remove the strings.
2. Remove the back plate of the guitar.
3. Locate the pickup you want to replace.
4. Disconnect the pickup wires from the volume and tone pots.
5. Remove the pickup mounting screws and remove the pickup from the guitar body.
6. Install the new pickup in reverse order.
7. Intonate the guitar.

* When disconnecting the pickup wires, make note of which wire goes to which terminal. This will help you to avoid any wiring mistakes when you install the new pickup.
* Be careful not to damage the guitar body when removing the pickup mounting screws.
