- Phillips head screwdriver

- Flat head screwdriver

- Hammer

- Punch

- Bearing puller

- Replacement bearings

- Grease

- Rags

1. Prepare the ATV. Park the ATV on a level surface, and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down completely. Engage the parking brake and chock the wheels to prevent the ATV from rolling.

2. Remove the rear wheels. Loosen the lug nuts on the rear wheels, then use the socket wrench to remove the lug nuts and wheels.

3. Remove the brake calipers. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the bolts that hold the brake calipers in place. Then, carefully remove the brake calipers from the rotors.

4. Remove the axle nuts and washers. Use the socket wrench to remove the axle nuts and washers from both sides of the ATV.

5. Remove the rear axle. Use the hammer and punch to drive the rear axle out of the ATV from one side to the other.

6. Remove the bearings. Use the bearing puller to remove the bearings from the axle. Be careful not to damage the axle or bearings.

7. Clean and inspect the axle and bearings. Use a rag to clean the axle and bearings, and inspect them for damage. If the bearings are damaged, replace them with new bearings.

8. Grease the bearings and install them. Apply a thin coat of grease to the new bearings, then install them on the axle.

9. Reinstall the axle, axle nuts, and washers. Reinstall the axle, axle nuts, and washers in the reverse order that you removed them.

10. Reinstall the brake calipers. Reinstall the brake calipers and bolts, then tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

11. Reinstall the rear wheels. Reinstall the rear wheels and lug nuts, then tighten the lug nuts to the specified torque.

12. Test the ATV. Take the ATV for a test ride to make sure that the rear bearings are working properly.
