2. Remove the carburetor. Loosen the carburetor clamps and pull the carburetor off of the intake manifold.
3. Dismantle the carburetor. Remove the float bowl screws and remove the float bowl. Remove the main jet, pilot jet, and needle jet.
4. Clean the carburetor parts. Spray the carburetor parts with carburetor cleaner and allow them to soak for several minutes. Use a soft brush to remove any dirt or debris. Rinse the parts with clean water and dry them with compressed air.
5. Reassemble the carburetor. Install the needle jet, pilot jet, and main jet. Screw on the float bowl and tighten the screws.
6. Install the carburetor. Slide the carburetor onto the intake manifold and tighten the clamps.
7. Replace the air filter. Install a new air filter or clean the old air filter.
8. Start the motorcycle and test it for proper operation.
