How do you reset the low tire pressure on a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe?

The 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe doesn't have a button to "reset" the low tire pressure light like some newer vehicles. The light is triggered by the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). To turn off the low tire pressure light, you need to inflate your tires to the proper pressure. The recommended tire pressure is found on a sticker located on the driver's side doorjamb or in your owner's manual.

Once you've inflated all tires to the correct pressure, drive the vehicle for a short distance (a few miles) at speeds above 20 mph. The TPMS sensors will re-read the pressure and the light should turn off automatically. If it doesn't, there might be a problem with one or more of the TPMS sensors, a faulty sensor, or a problem with the system itself, and you'll need to have it checked by a mechanic.
