How do you turn on outside mirror defroster for a 2005 Ford Expedtion?

The 2005 Ford Expedition doesn't have heated side mirrors. That feature wasn't standard or even a common option on that model year. Therefore, there's no switch or button to activate an outside mirror defroster.
