How do you change the rear brakes on a 89 Cadillac Eldorado?

Tools Needed:

- Jack and jack stands

- Lug wrench

- Socket set

- Brake caliper tool

- New brake pads

- Brake cleaner

- Wheel bearing grease

Instructions:

1. Park your car on a level surface and apply the parking brake.

2. Jack up your car and support it on jack stands.

3. Remove the lug nuts and take off the rear wheels.

4. Remove the two bolts holding the brake caliper in place.

5. Use a brake caliper tool to compress the brake caliper and remove it from the rotor.

6. Remove the old brake pads from the caliper.

7. Clean the caliper and rotor with brake cleaner.

8. Apply wheel bearing grease to the caliper slide pins.

9. Install the new brake pads in the caliper.

10. Reinstall the brake caliper and the two bolts.

11. Reinstall the lug nuts and wheels.

12. Lower your car off the jack stands and test the brakes.
