1. Prepare tools.
- Phillips screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver
- Panel removal tool
- Small pry bar
2. Access the door.
- Open the front door you wish to work on.
- Sit inside the vehicle.
3. Remove door lock trim.
- Push a flat-head screwdriver into the seam between the door lock trim and the door trim panel.
- Gently pry up and outward on the screwdriver until the door lock trim pops out.
- Set aside door lock trim.
4. Remove window switch trim plate.
- Slide a flathead screwdriver into the seam between the door trim panel and the window switch trim plate.
- Gently pry up and outward on the screwdriver until the window switch trim pops out.
- Remove window switch trim plate and disconnect window switch wiring harness.
5. Remove door handle surround trim.
- Place your fingers behind the door handle surround trim around the door handle
- Pull firmly, working around the trim piece until it pops out of place.
6. Remove the inner door handle bezel.
- There are two screws that secure the bezel in place.
- Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove both screws.
- Once removed, gently pull the bezel off.
7. Remove door handle.
- There are two 7mm bolts that hold the door handle in place.
- Use a 7mm socket to remove both bolts.
- Remove the door handle.
8. Open door panel.
- Use the panel removal tool to release the door panel clips.
- Start from the bottom of the door and work your way around the door panel.
- Be careful, the door panel is held in place with a few screws that are hidden behind the release clips.
9. Remove the wiring harness.
- Disconnect the wiring harness from the door panel controls and speakers.
- Remove the door panel.
