1. Remove the two 1/2-inch bolts that secure the seat rails to the floor. These are located at the front of the seat, underneath the seat cushion.
2. Slide the seat forward until the front of the seat cushion is about 4 inches from the dashboard.
3. Reach underneath the seat and disconnect the seat belt buckle from the seat frame.
4. Lift the seat cushion up and off the seat frame.
5. Remove the two 1/2-inch nuts that secure the seat frame to the floor. These are located at the rear of the seat frame.
6. Lift the seat frame up and out of the car.
To reinstall the seat, reverse these steps. Be sure to reconnect the seat belt buckle and tighten all the bolts and nuts.
