*1. Disconnect the battery.*

- Use a wrench to loosen the serpentine belt tensioner and remove the belt from the pulleys.
*3. Remove the timing belt cover.*
- Remove the bolts that hold the timing cover in place and remove the cover.
*4. Turn the engine over until the timing marks on the camshaft and crankshaft are aligned.*
- Use a wrench to turn the crankshaft pulley bolt until the timing marks on the camshaft and crankshaft are aligned.
*5. Loosen the timing belt tensioner.*
- Use a wrench to loosen the timing belt tensioner bolt and remove the belt.
*6. Install the new timing belt.*
- Align the timing marks on the new timing belt with the timing marks on the camshaft and crankshaft.
- Install the new timing belt and tensioner bolt.
*7. Tighten the timing belt tensioner.*
- Use a wrench to tighten the timing belt tensioner bolt.
*8. Reinstall the timing belt cover.*
- Reinstall the timing belt cover and bolts.
*9. Reinstall the serpentine belt.*
- Reinstall the serpentine belt and tensioner bolt.
*10. Reconnect the battery.*
- Reattach the negative battery cable to the battery post.
