1. Turn off the machine.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the outlet.
3. Remove the water tank by lifting it straight up and off the machine.
4. Turn the cartridge cap counterclockwise to unlock it and remove it from the water tank.
5. Remove the old cartridge from the cap.
6. Insert the new cartridge into the cap.
7. Replace the cartridge cap by turning it clockwise until it locks into place.
8. Refill the water tank and replace it on the machine.
9. Plug in the power cord and turn on the machine.
