How do you replace air filter on 2008 vw jetta?

Materials Needed

- New air filter (check your owner's manual for the correct size)

- Screwdriver

Instructions

1. Locate the air filter housing. It is usually located in the engine compartment, near the top of the engine. On the 2008 VW Jetta, the air filter housing is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment, near the firewall.

2. Open the air filter housing. There are two clips that hold the cover in place. Use a screwdriver to release the clips and remove the cover.

3. Remove the old air filter. It is simply sitting inside the housing.

5. Replace the cover and secure it with the clips.
