How do you change Discovery 2 rear lights?

To change the rear lights on a Land Rover Discovery 2, please follow the steps below:

Tools Needed

- Flat head screwdriver

- Philips screwdriver

- New rear lights

Instructions

1. Open the rear hatch of the Discovery 2.

2. Locate the two screws on the inside of the rear hatch that hold the rear light assembly in place.

3. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove these screws and set them aside.

4. Gently pull the rear light assembly out of the rear hatch, taking care not to disconnect any wires.

5. Disconnect the electrical connectors on the back of the rear light assembly by pushing down on the release tabs and pulling them apart.

6. Place the new rear light assembly into the rear hatch and make sure that it is properly seated.

7. Secure the rear light assembly with the two screws that you removed in Step 2.

8. Test the new rear lights to make sure that they are working properly.

9. Close the rear hatch.

Additional Notes:

- If you are having difficulty removing the rear light assembly, you may need to use a trim removal tool to pry it loose.

- Be careful not to damage the electrical connectors when you are disconnecting them.

- Make sure that the new rear light assembly is properly seated before you secure it with the screws.
