1. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry open the cover of the trunk latch.
2. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the trunk latch in place.
3. Pull the trunk latch out of the trunk lid.
Grill
1. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry open the clips that hold the grill in place.
2. Pull the grill out of the front bumper.
3. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the VW emblem in place.
4. Pull the VW emblem off of the grill.
