To remove the automatic shift knob on a 1995 Buick LeSabre to put in a new one, follow these steps:

1. Park the car in a level spot and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake and turn the ignition key to the "Off" position.

2. Locate the shift knob release button. On the 1995 Buick LeSabre, this button is located on the side of the shift knob.

3. Press and hold the shift knob release button. While pressing the button, pull up on the shift knob until it comes off the shifter.

4. Remove the old shift knob. Once the shift knob is off the shifter, you can remove the old shift knob by unscrewing it counterclockwise.

5. Install the new shift knob. Screw the new shift knob onto the shifter until it is snug.
