Disconnect the spark plug wire:
1. Locate the spark plug wire on the cylinder head.
2. Pull the spark plug wire boot off the spark plug.
Remove the lawn mower deck cover:
1. Remove the deck cover by removing the bolts holding it in place.
Release tension from the drive belt:
1. Rotate the tension pulley counterclockwise until the belt is loose.
Remove the drive belt:
1. Once the belt is loose, slide the belt off the pulleys.
Install the new drive belt:
1. Slide the new drive belt around the pulleys.
2. Tighten the tension pulley clockwise until the belt is snug.
Reattach the lawn mower deck cover:
1. Reattach the deck cover using the bolts you removed earlier.
Reconnect the spark plug wire:
1. Reconnect the spark plug wire to the spark plug.
Test the lawn mower:
1. Start the lawn mower and test the drive belt to make sure it is working properly.
