* A socket set
* A Phillips head screwdriver
* A flat head screwdriver
* A pair of pliers
* A new stator
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the seat.
3. Remove the side covers.
4. Locate the stator. It is located on the left side of the engine, behind the flywheel.
5. Remove the bolts that hold the stator in place.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the stator.
7. Remove the stator from the engine.
8. Install the new stator in reverse order of removal.
9. Reconnect the battery.
10. Start the engine and check that the stator is working properly.
