Locate the seat bolts. The seat of a Honda steed 400 vlx is secured by two bolts, which are located at the front of the seat.
Step 2:
Remove the seat bolts. Insert the key, turn it counterclockwise until the bolt pops up. Do the same with the second bolt.
Step 3:
Swing the seat backwards. Once the bolts are removed, you can swing the seat backwards to remove it. Gently lay it down on one side.
Step 4:
Lift the hinges at the back and then push them forwards and down.
The installation is the reverse of removal.
