1. Park your mower on a flat, level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the drive control lever, which is usually located on the right side of the mower handle.
3. Pull the drive control lever towards the "Slow" position.
4. Start the engine and engage the drive system by moving the drive control lever forward to the "Fast" position.
5. Walk behind the mower and observe how it moves. If the mower moves too quickly, pull the drive control lever back towards the "Slow" position. If the mower moves too slowly, move the drive control lever forward towards the "Fast" position.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you find the desired drive speed.
Here are some additional tips for adjusting the drive control on a Craftsman EZ Walk mower:
* Make sure that the mower is on a flat, level surface before adjusting the drive control.
* Do not adjust the drive control while the mower is moving.
* If the mower is moving too quickly, do not pull the drive control lever too far back towards the "Slow" position. This could cause the mower to jerk or stall.
* If the mower is moving too slowly, do not move the drive control lever too far forward towards the "Fast" position. This could cause the mower to overheat or damage the drive system.
