2. Remove the stator cover. This can be done by removing the two bolts that hold it in place.
3. Disconnect the starter clutch cable from the starter clutch cover.
4. Remove the starter clutch cover. This can be done by removing the three bolts that hold it in place.
5. Remove the starter clutch. To do this, you will need to use a starter clutch puller tool.
6. Install the new starter clutch. Be sure to install it in the same orientation as the old one.
7. Reinstall the starter clutch cover. Tighten the three bolts that hold it in place.
8. Reinstall the stator cover. Tighten the two bolts that hold it in place.
9. Connect the starter clutch cable to the starter clutch cover.
10. Reinstall the left side cover. Tighten the four bolts that hold it in place.
Tips:
* Be sure to use a new starter clutch gasket when reinstalling the starter clutch cover.
* When installing the new starter clutch, be sure to align the timing marks on the clutch with the timing marks on the engine case.
