How can a person repair BMW car that has been damaged by large dent to the side door?

Tools

* A large rubber suction cup

* a blow dryer or head gun set to the high setting

* hammer or rubber mallet

* screwdriver

* sandpaper

* paint

* painter's tape

* paintbrushes

Instructions:

1. Clean the area around the dent:

Use a mild dishwashing detergent and mix with water. Soak a piece of microfiber with this solution and clean the dented area. Once clean, gently rinse the water away with clean water and let it completely dry.

2. Apply the dent puller:

Place the large rubber suction cup directly in the center of the dent. Make sure it creates an airtight seal. Be sure to avoid placing it along the edges. Press down firmly on the suction cup.

3. Apply heat to the suction cup:

Use the blow dryer or heat gun set on high and start applying hot air to the suction cup. Apply the heat in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes.

4. Pull out the dent:

Once the suction cup is hot enough and ready, slowly pull the suction cup toward you to extract the dent. If the dent pops out, you can skip to step 7. If the suction cup gets unstuck, reapply the heat and try again.

5. Leverage the dent out:

If the dent is still present, get inside your car and slowly wedge the screwdriver behind the rubber weather-stripping around the door frame next to the dent. Be very gentle and careful during this step. Start moving the screwdriver up and down while gradually applying pressure and trying to pry the metal door skin out.

6. Use the hammer

After carefully prying the metal skin out, you can switch to using the rubber mallet. Start hammering on the dent while you're still inside the vehicle. Move the hammer in a circular motion and don't hit one spot for too long. Hitting one spot for too long may damage the paint. Repeat gently but firmly.

7. Pop out the dent:

Now you can switch back to the suction cup and heat method to try to pop out the remaining dent. Place the suction cup over the dent and apply the heat. You may need to repeat the process multiple times and it may take a while and some muscle work to get the dent completely out.

8. Finish up:

Once the dent is out, use touch up paint to cover the spot where you applied heat and carefully blend it in with the rest of your paint. Make sure the paint is compatible with your car and apply multiple coats if necessary. You may need to apply some clear coat over the paint to protect it. Allow the paint to dry according to the instructions.

Note: If the dent is too severe, it may require professional repairs.

Warning: Use caution when working around the heated blow dryer or heat gun. Never leave it unattended.
