Method 1: Using the Onboard Display
1. Turn on the ignition but don't start the engine.
2. Press the trip reset button on the right stalk until "SERVICE" appears on the display.

4. Press and hold the "OK" button on the stalk for a few seconds.
5. The service indicator will reset, and the display will show "ASSYST PLUS RESET."
Method 2: Using a Diagnostic Tool
1. Connect a compatible diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD-II port.
2. Turn on the ignition.
3. Follow the instructions on the diagnostic tool to select the "Service Reset" option.
4. Select "Mercedes-Benz" as the vehicle manufacturer.
5. Select the "CLK-Class (W209)" as the vehicle model.
6. Select the "Reset Service Indicator" option.
7. The diagnostic tool will perform the reset, and the service indicator will be turned off.
Method 3: Disconnecting the Battery
1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Wait for at least 15 minutes.
3. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
4. Turn on the ignition.
5. The service indicator will reset.
