To replace the brake light bulb on a 2001 PT Cruiser, follow these steps:

Ensure that the vehicle is turned off and parked in a safe location. Engage the parking brake.

Open the trunk of your PT Cruiser.

Locate the tail light assembly on the side where you need to replace the bulb.

Turn the tail light assembly counterclockwise until it is unlocked and can be removed.

Once the tail light assembly is removed, you will see the brake light bulb.

Gently push down on the bulb and turn it counterclockwise to remove it.

Insert the new brake light bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise until it is secure.
