- Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
- Press and release the accelerator pedal three times.
- Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
- Wait for at least 15 seconds.
- Start the engine and let it idle for at least 10 minutes.
- If the service 4WD indicator does not reset, check the 4WD system for any faults or problems and fix them if necessary.
