1. Turn the ignition switch to the "II" position, but do not start the engine.
2.Press and hold the "Trip" button on the dashboard for at least five seconds.
3. While still holding the "Trip" button, press the "Check" button and hold it for at least five seconds.
4. Release both buttons and the service light should be reset.
To reset the oil change indicator, follow these steps:
1. Start the engine and run it until it reaches normal operating temperature.
2. Turn off the engine and wait at least five minutes.
3. Open the hood and locate the oil dipstick tube.
4. Remove the oil dipstick and wipe it clean.
5. Reinsert the oil dipstick into the tube until it is fully seated.
6. Withdraw the oil dipstick and check the oil level. If the oil level is between the "Add" and "Full" marks, the reset procedure is now complete.
7. If the oil level is below the "Add" mark, add enough oil to bring it up to the "Full" mark.
8. Reinstall the oil dipstick and close the hood.
9. Start the engine and run it for at least one minute.
10. Turn off the engine and wait at least five minutes.
11. Turn the ignition switch to the "II" position, but do not start the engine.
12. Press and hold the "Trip" button on the dashboard for at least five seconds.
13. While still holding the "Trip" button, press the "Check" button and hold it for at least five seconds.
14. Release both buttons and the service light and oil change indicator should be reset.
